Supplier Quote
Comparison Template

Put supplier quotes into the same structure before you compare them. Edit the table in your browser, add suppliers and download the result as a CSV file.

No account, spreadsheet upload or backend required.

Step 01 / Normalize the quote

Use the same fields
for every supplier.

Tip: compare quotes in the same currency and on the same delivery basis. A lower unit price can still produce a higher effective order cost.

A cleaner quote process

What should a supplier
quote template include?

Commercial fields

Record supplier name, unit price, MOQ, Incoterm and lead time so the commercial terms are visible next to the price.

Cost fields

Add freight, duty or tax assumptions and other known charges. This makes it easier to identify which quote still needs normalization before comparison.

Keep specifications separate

Use the Notes field for product or packaging differences, but confirm that suppliers are quoting the same specification before treating the prices as directly comparable.

When to use this template

Standardize quotes
before calculating.

Use it when

Supplier quotations arrive in different formats and you need one consistent table for price, MOQ, Incoterm, lead time, freight and notes before doing any cost comparison.

Use another tool when

You are ready to calculate normalized order cost rather than just organize the inputs. Move the cleaned data into the Supplier Quote Comparison Tool.

Quick answers

Supplier quote template
FAQ.

Why should every supplier use the same columns?

Standard fields make missing information visible and reduce the risk of comparing quotes that use different delivery terms, quantities or cost assumptions.

Can I download the table?

Yes. The browser tool can download the current table as CSV, which you can open in spreadsheet software or keep with your sourcing records.

Should I compare prices before confirming specifications?

No. Make sure product, packaging, materials and quality requirements are equivalent first. A lower price for a different specification is not a true price comparison.
